Sessions with Oi Yee Tai
Many have asked me if I give calligraphy lessons. I am happy to announce that I am finally launching my online Chinese Calligraphy Workshop.
I will be conducting one-on-one Chinese Calligraphy Tutorials/ Sessions. I would like to give you all the attention you need, and also cater to your level.
If you are a beginner, you might be interested in several sessions of basic learning and practice. If you already know Chinese calligraphy and only need some advice, assessment or critique, you can also enrol in a single session as the need arises.
I intend to make it more interactive instead of giving mundane strict lessons. I will teach you the basic strokes, and you can immediately start trying, and show me what you are doing. We can then find ways to improve, and also enjoy the process. If interested, I can provide you with a free introductory video for you to decide whether you want to enrol . It gives you a basic idea of what the sessions will involve and also an introduction to the materials for Chinese calligraphy.
The calligraphy sessions will be online private tutorials delivered from my studio in Canada to anywhere in this world. It will be one-on-one 40 minutes per session.
Cost: US$60 per single session (40 minutes one-on-one tutorial)
Package of 5 sessions for US$250 (40 minutes one-on-one tutorial) If you have your own little group or family and would like to take the lessons together, contact me for special rates
Bonus: Upon request, at no extra cost, I can screen record the online session, upload it and provide you with a private link for you to view later
